Apologies to Bob Seger, but it is difficult not to have that song pop into my head every time I think about this trip to Nepal.
In case you are not sure, Nepal is situated between India and China. One of the poorest countries in the world, it is home to about 27 million people. This population is comprised of about 101 ethnic groups.
Hinduism and Buddhism constitute the two major religions however Nepal was declared a secular country in 2006.
